Seven Roses Delicatessen

Seven Roses is the last classic Polish deli-butcher on Fleet Avenue, the historic heart of Cleveland's Slavic Village. The counter is small — a few varieties of smoked kielbasa, fresh white kielbasa, pierogi made in the back, head cheese, and a rotating selection of Polish smoked pork — but every piece of it is what the neighborhood has been eating for a hundred years.

If you've never been down Fleet Avenue, this is a good excuse to go. The block is quiet during the week but the shop stays busy with regulars picking up sausage for the weekend. Around Wigilia and Easter it's essentially a community center.
