Jaworski Meat Market
Third-generation Polish smokehouse in the western suburbs.
Est. 1949$$Editor verified

Jaworski's is the shop Cleveland Poles have been driving out to since 1949. What they do best — better than almost anyone else in the state — is smoked kielbasa. Fresh (biała), smoked (wędzona), garlic-heavy, or the long, thin sausage they call "hunter's kielbasa" — every one of them made in-house in the smokehouse behind the counter.
Beyond kielbasa the case is a small tour of Central European butchering: krakowska, kabanosy, head cheese, blood sausage, smoked pork loin (schab), and a small selection of fresh cuts. Around Easter and Christmas the line stretches out the door for pre-orders; call ahead any holiday week.
“The smoker's been going almost every day for seventy years. That's the flavor. You can't buy it new.”
